Steel Strip Shot Blasting Machines are specifically designed to treat steel strips (carbon, alloy, or stainless steel) on a continuous passage under the blast streams at the speed required by the customer. This machine consists of multiple centrifugal blast wheels each of them driven by individual motors to give a thorough cleaning.
The jobs kept on suitable conveying systems with variable speed flexibility. The strip is fed from the de-coiler to the shot blasting machine. Then the strip enters into the blasting chamber for blasting, and blast wheel stations are located strategically onto to blasting cabinet. The cleaned strip moves forward and enters into out vestibule. From there strip is pulled by a coiler. The entire operation of the machine is controlled by PLC.
Additionally, each throwing wheel has an ammeter and a voltmeter installed for quick and precise readings. The system includes several safety precautions, such as a blast wheel motor that will not run if the door is open.
